MOSCOW, October 15. /TASS/: Russia’s coronavirus cases grew by 13,754 in the past day and the total case tally climbed to 1,354,163, the anti-coronavirus crisis center told reporters on Thursday.
A day earlier some 14,231 COVID-19 cases were recorded, setting a record high during the entire pandemic.
The average daily growth rate dropped to 1%.
The lowest growth rates in the past day were recorded in the Chechen Republic (0.2%), the Chuvash Republic (0.4%), the Tyva and Tatarstan Republics (0.5%).
Some 3,942 new cases were confirmed in Moscow, 439 in the Moscow Region, 281 in the Rostov and Nizhny Novgorod Regions. The Krasnoyarsk Region recorded 204 new cases for the first time since May 12.
Currently, some 282,575 people are receiving treatment for the coronavirus in Russia.
